Coleen Ryan

26 &2 Instructor

Coleen, a native of Western Massachusetts, has always been involved in sports and athletics. She discovered hot yoga in 2006 while living in Los Angeles and instantly felt at home on the mat. For Coleen, hot yoga is a way to stay connected to both her body and mind. She feels grateful to be part of the Easthampton Yoga community, and values the opportunity to share in this journey with others. Outside the studio, Coleen is proud to work at Girls on the Run Western Massachusetts, where they help inspire girls to live healthy, confident, and joyful lives.

Juliana Olmstead

26 &2, Yin Yoga

Juliana recently moved back to her childhood hometown of Holyoke and is thrilled to be a part of Easthampton Yoga! She started practicing Original Hot Yoga (26&2) in 2004 and has been teaching this method consistently since 2010. As a full time yoga teacher, she taught at various studios around the country before putting down roots in Rhode Island and opening Rhode Island Hot Yoga in 2014. She teaches both Original Hot Yoga and Yin Yoga - balancing the Yin and the Yang - and loves to help students develop their own practice.

When she’s not teaching yoga, managing her businesses, or fixing up her new house, you’ll find Juliana exploring the great hiking opportunities and live music scene in Western Mass.

Cordelia McKusick

Deep Melt Instructor

With over 15 years of teaching experience, in private and group sessions, through workshops and classes, Cordelia naturally creates a container that is genuinely playful and non-judgmental. By nature, Cordelia seeks to teach a Yogic experience that uniquely forges community bonds towards reflection and advancement.

Cordelia has taught Yoga to College Sports teams, with at risk youth, at Private Clubs, Kripalu School of Yoga Teacher Trainings, in a Panamanian orphanage, at Eco-Communities & Retreat Centers, volunteer positions with inmate populations, on ZOOM and at small high quality Yoga studios.

As a LMT, Cordelia offers advanced hands-on-assists with instructional musculoskeletal guidance, that fosters educational awareness towards small daily adjustments for living pain-free.raph Font

Arlene McLean

Mindful Vinyasa Flow

Arlene has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She began yoga by exploring the world of Ashtanga, then she discovered  Baptiste Yoga. Arlene fell in love with all of the principles, life-long skills, and people that she came across while being a yogi. One thing she loves about yoga is the immediate connection that is made with the yoga studio communities she practices at. Arlene believes in the power of meditation and makes this part of her daily practice. A life-long passion of hers is bringing these life-long tools of yoga and mindfulness to youth. She began Mindful Movers in  2020 and has brought yoga to children and educators through various classes and workshops. Arlene completed her 200-Hour Yoga certification in a Baptiste Teacher training. She then completed a 100-Hour Baptiste Yoga for Youth Teacher Certification Program, an MBSR training, and a 300- Hour Mindful Schools Certification.

When she isn’t teaching elementary school, or practicing yoga, she enjoys walking her 2 Australian shepherds, relaxing at the beach, doing puzzles, or spending time with her family.

Lisa Hansen-Benkert

26 & 2

I was introduced to 26&2 yoga in 2021 by my friend and now studio owner, Cathy. What began as curiosity quickly became a powerful tool for healing, guiding me from years of chronic pain toward greater awareness, resilience, and management.

Movement has always been an important part of my life, including gymnastics, dance, running, tennis, and hiking. Through this yoga practice, I’ve found glimpses of a younger version of myself and rediscovered joy in flexibility, balance, endurance, and strength.

As a new teacher, I am committed to deepening my own practice while learning how to thoughtfully and safely guide others. I look forward to creating a supportive, welcoming space for students at every stage of their journey.

Ann Shelton

26 & 2

Ann grew up in Western Mass. Her first introduction to yoga was with her mother doing some stretches together. In the 7th grade did a presentation to her class on the benefits of yoga, even demonstrating some poses. Ann taught studio art for 20 years. Teaching had always been a way to share her passions.  She came to hot yoga in 2009 after being told she needed new knees, but was "too young for that". After the first class, her knees felt better, and she was hooked. Yoga became a place for physical and mental restoration and rejuvenation. In 2023, she became a certified 26 + 2 instructor, and that love of teaching and yoga has continued.  In her spare time, she runs a non-profit for people with disabilities, makes art, and sometimes even squeezes in a little yoga.

In addition to Coleen, Ann, Lisa, and Juliana, we are fortunate to have Chris as one of our 26 & 2 instructors.

Erin O’Connell is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and certified Sound Healing Practitioner, with training completed in Rishikesh, India.
